MD PRODUCT—formerly known as MD PAPER PRODUCTS by Midori—was born in the 1960s and has evolved into an independent Japanese design brand, offering premium notebooks, diaries and planners, writing tools and desk essentials.

MD Paper Cotton is made with 20% cotton pulp, giving the paper a slightly more textured surface compared to standard MD Paper. The result is a more tactile writing experience with a gentle “grip” that many writers appreciate for improved control and expressive line variation. The paper is also noticeably brighter than the original MD Paper, helping inks appear more vivid and defined on the page.

Available across select notebooks and paper formats, MD Paper Cotton retains the same design and excellent bleed-through resistance the brand is known for, while offering a subtly different writing feel.
